ROOKIE CAMP.

Spend three cool days in the snow and learn everything about freeriding. The requirement is that you are a good piste skier. The event is made possible by our main partner, the Swiss Ski School Andermatt.

Date: 14th – 16th February 2026
Meeting point: 9.00 am at Imholz Sport Shop Gemsstockbahn
Price: from 350.- CHF
(3 days guiding with ski instructor and mountain guide)
Recommended age: 12 to 16 years

Course content:
Freeride technique, avalanche transceiver training, reading and interpreting avalanche bulletins, avalanche information, choosing lines and stops, jumps in the terrain, insight into the work of the piste rescue service PRD
Equipment needed:
Freeride skis and safety set (backpack, avalanche transceiver, avalanche probe and shovel). Complete equipment can be rented from Imholz Sport.

MAMMUT SNOW & SAFETY SESSIONS.

Be ready to make smart decisions fast this winter.

Mammut Snow Safety Sessions are designed to give you the tools you need to make good decisions and operate efficiently in critical situations while ski touring, freeriding and snowshoeing. Join this free indoor event on avalanche theory and learn about the latest in avalanche equipment with a qualified mountain guide.

Program:

• Introduction to general avalanche awareness
• Avalanche equipment training and testing
• Q&A session with mountain guide

EUROPEAN OUTDOOR FILM TOUR – E.O.F.T. ANDERMATT

A two-hour film program packed with great adventures, strong personalities and thrills. EOFT 2025 brings together a variety of extremes. Will you be there?

Look forward to a 50-day trip through Alaska, where it’s not just the snow-covered mountains that glisten. A bike tour of the highest peaks in each of the Swiss cantons, where each ascent is rewarded with a typcial Swiss pastry.

Also on the program is figure skating in Canada. Speedriding in Switzerland. We will meet a climber who fought her way back to the rock after a fall. And an inventor who has revolutionised packraft design with her ideas.

80`s Skiday @ Gemsstock.

Season end means throwing everything into the balance again, pulling the hot dogger dress forward and putting on the old Molitor ski boots. The more colorful the more worthy. We celebrate the end of the season with bright colors, good music and great company. Be a part of it too 😉
