Edges, base, binding – ready for the next day. Sharpening is done with Swiss grinding machines from Montana.

      What is only available for rent at the Piazza?

      Fatbikes, E-Fatbikes and sledges. You can hire all of these by the hour or per day – the only one of our three shops to offer this. You will also find the largest rental selection at the Piazza.

      Is there a Mammut Store at the Piazza?

      Yes, in its own area of our shop. It carries six categories: clothing, accessories, backpacks, avalanche equipment, shoes and airbags.

      How do I book a service?

      You book ski and snowboard service via the service page, and boot fitting there as an appointment. For repairs and the sewing service no booking is needed: call us or just come by.

      Does the Piazza arrange mountain guides?

      Yes. We advise you on the tour and the gear and arrange a mountain guide for freeride, ski touring or a snowshoe tour; a local mountain guide leads the tour itself. Fatbike guiding on the winter hiking trails from Andermatt to Realp is available on request.

      When is the Piazza open?

      Most of the year. The Piazza is closed from late October to mid-November and from early April to Ascension. The daily hours are listed under opening hours.

      Via the EasyRent reservation ↗ (opens in a new tab). From this page the Piazza Gottardo shop is already preselected; you simply choose the item and the period.
